tattoo bio...

I started tattooing in 95 and messing with machines around 97...My entire life basically came to me taking everything I owned apart and trying to make it better..and in those starting years I found myself back and CT. working at Mike Fitts' advanced tattoo..this is where I wanted to be...Mike was at the time and in my mind still one of the best freehand tattoo artist and machine builders I have ever met.. I worked there shortly around 97 and 98 before moving onto new york for a stint. well in 99 I came back to CT. and took a job at Greenman tattoo where I have been ever since...

skateboard bio...

I started skating around 85 or 86 and have pretty much always had a board with me.. jump forward to around 2003 I was at a ASR skate/surf trade show and met a guy who was making a documentary on skateboarding and tattooing and how they sort of go hand and hand..well a few calls later and I set up some filming back here in RI at old Alva pro skater Fred Smiths tattoo shop..out came another old Alva pro Bill Danforth and out of nowhere we came up with the idea of starting American Nomad skateboards.. just a small company making the boards we want to make really..no stress just good friends building good boards.. www.americannomadskates.com anyway around 2004 the documentary came out called Skinned Alive..you can find it on netflix and all over ebay..its got tattoo greats Mark Mahoney, Danny Romo, Tim Hendrix, and many more..and skate greats like Jason Jessee, Fred Smith, Bill Danforth, Eric Dressen, the Godoys and many more aswell...
